IMA Web Design Award Winner DiPietro Marketing Group

Marketing and Advertising Agency Wins International Competition For Responsive Website Design

The Interactive Media Awards announced today that DiPietro Marketing Group LLC (DMG) has won the 2015 IMA Outstanding Achievement Website Design Award in the Marketing category.  The winning entry was for the Agency’s own responsive website design, www.DiPietro.biz.

The Interactive Media Awards recognize the highest standards of excellence in website design and development and honor individuals and organizations for their outstanding achievement.

Judges scored DMG’s entry at 476 points out of as possible 500.  The entry was scored using five specific criteria, with a score from 0-100 awarded for each criterion.  The total of these five scores established the responsive design’s overall score, up to a maximum of 500.  Entries receiving an overall score between 460 and 479 earned an Outstanding Achievement website design award, as DMG’s did.  Website designs receiving an overall score between 480 and 500 received Best In Class award.

(DMG missed a Best In Class award by 4 stinkin’ points out if 500!)

DMG’s responsive website design award was scored as follows:

  • Design: 91
  • Content: 100
  • Feature Functionality: 100
  • Usability: 95
  • Standards Compliance: 90

Overall Score: 476 out of 500.

Kudos to the Team who contributed so much to creating a piece of online communications unlike any seen before:

  • Brian – Creative Director
  • Natalie – Graphic Artist
  • Laura – Graphic Artist
  • Maria – Lead Developer
  • Eric – Web Analytics
  • Michael – Project Manager
  • Steve – Strategy, SEO Copywriting

The Outstanding Achievement award is the second highest honor bestowed by IMA, and an extremely challenging award to win.  According to the IMA: “The entry excelled in most areas of judging criteria and represents a very high standard of planning, execution and overall professionalism”.

To win an award, an entry had to successfully pass through IMA’s comprehensive judging system.  The judges utilize a points-based scoring system which allows each entry to receive a maximum of 500 points.  By adhering to the specific guidelines and criteria of this system, the judges are able to maintain the highest degree of fairness, accuracy and integrity; competently and effectively evaluate entries; and, deliver clear results.
