The web design won a MarCom Platinum Award.
In the spring of 2011, LaptopBatteryExpress.com asked DMG to update the web design. So, why would anyone want to try to improve on an award-winning web design?
Client’s know their business. LaptopBatteryExpress.com, which DMG set-up on the Volusion ecommerce shopping cart platform, believed that, with the mass acceptance of the Apple iPad that began in early 2010, more and more prospects would be looking to buy while viewing the site on a tablet computer. Google Analytics confirmed this. The site, being designed a couple of years prior, did not display well enough on tablets. So, DMG set out to update the web design to accommodate tablet viewing. And, while at it, design in more content space.
